Where Can I Find An Affordable Dog-friendly Apartment In Santa Barbara/goleta?
I will be starting grad school at UCSB in September and really need to find an affordable apartment near the university by the end of August. Problem is, I have a dog, and it seems like apartments that accept dogs in the area are about $300 more expensive a month. Does anyone know any dog-friendly complexes I can try, or at least any areas of SB where I might be likely to find one? I am looking for a 1-bedroom for under $1300 – under $1200 would be preferrable.
(Note: Getting rid of my dog is NOT an option – she is nearly 15 years old, and has been in my family for just as long.)

I suggest checking out craigslist.com
You will find quite a few listings there including whether or not pets are OK. Most include photos and a link for a map
